Moorpark, Calif., July 25, 2006 – LynxGate Solutions, a provider of the CAT ATM management product suite, a software product of Fiserv Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV), announced today that Navy Army Federal Credit Union of Texas has selected CAT to bring its ATM operations in-house. Navy Army FCU has $415 million in assets and a growing network of 12 ATMs that process 58,000 “on-us” ATM transactions per month. LynxGate’s CAT product will allow the credit union to personalize messaging at the ATM, design screens, balance and track down ATM issues quickly.
The top reasons cited by Sarah O’Brien, executive vice president/controller of Navy Army FCU, in the selection of the CAT product were control over marketing to members at the ATMs and ease of deploying new ATMs.
“It was time for us to review ATM solutions, so we did our due diligence,” said O’Brien. “We reached the conclusion that intercept processing with CAT will bring us several key benefits, including direct marketing to cardholders at the ATM, faster deployment of ATMs and improved internal efficiency. Our analysis also showed a huge cost savings from CAT’s ability to intercept on-us transactions. While cost saving is important to us, it is not the main reason we are taking ATM operations in-house. CAT can help us achieve our goals of better member service and operational efficiency, and those are the reasons it became our top choice.”
The newest version of CAT provides financial institutions with complete control of their ATM network. CAT operates on a Windows 2003™ server and features a relational database and web-based user interface. CAT supports advanced ATM functions and the ability to tailor products and services to the cardholder.
Navy Army FCU will install the CAT product suite in August, 2006.
